Al Capone Jamaican Blaze cigarillos are the warmer, spicier end of the Al Capone range. They share the same construction as the rest of the line — hand-rolled, genuine Java tobacco wrapper, a proper blended filler rather than scrap — but the finish takes the smoke somewhere noticeably different from the Sweets variants.

The Sweets range leads with rounded, cognac-forward sweetness. Jamaican Blaze pulls in a rum-inspired island character instead: darker, heavier on molasses and brown sugar, and with a genuine peppery heat sitting underneath. The smoking experience
The opening draws are sweet and dark — molasses and unrefined sugar rather than the lighter sweetness of the cognac line. Through the middle the Java wrapper’s natural earthiness comes forward and a dry pepper note develops on the retrohale. The finish is long and warm. It holds its character well right down to the nub, which is not always true of cigarillos at this price.
When to smoke it
This is a cold-weather and after-dinner cigarillo. The spice and the darker sweetness both land better when there is something to cut through — a heavy meal, a cold evening, a dark spirit. Aged rum is the obvious pairing and it genuinely works; so does black coffee or a stout. It is less suited to a hot afternoon, where the Sweets line is the more comfortable choice.
Storage and handling
Keep the pack sealed until use and store somewhere cool and dark. If you are opening a box and working through it over several weeks, a humidity pouch held around 65–70% will stop the Java wrapper drying and cracking, which is the main way cigarillos go wrong.
